Minerals

To tokenize precious minerals (Gold, Silver, Diamond, precious metals, etc) navigate to the tokenization tab in RENTOP. This will require first completing KYC verification and potentially KYB to establish connection to any legal entity that may be owner or a party involved in the holding of the underlying asset being tokenized. If you've already onboarded with RENTOP and can access the entire site, no other action is needed on this step. Other see Verificationfor how to get started with RENTOP.

Once on the tokenization tab for minerals, you must enter for all data requested on screen. Most of this is tied to the traits of the element being tokenized, the type of element, condition, other details. Some is also related to establishing the verification of ownership. Document type to be used to verify (whether ownership deed of extraction site, purchase agreement, or other documentation will drive the check performed with other details requested.

Should this succeed, no other action other than providing a token symbol and share confirmation would be required. If we are unable to automatically verify the ownership, we will reach out to ask for additional information to be able to confirm before processing the pended tokenization. This will result in the same net outcome of picking a symbol and available shares.
